Type description
The 8750 flow regulator is used to determine and regulate volume flow based on the differential pressure principle. This regulator consists of a Model 2712 regulator with Model 8630 TopControl Continuous, two Model 8323 pressure transmitters, and an Model 8400 temperature transmitter (optional). The total accuracy is ± 3% of the final value of the measurement range. All these components constitute a building block. The sensor is integrated in the connection tube. For different adjustment tasks, there are a large number of nominal bore valve seat combinations available. If necessary, replace the valve. When installing components, care must be taken that the inlet section complies with EN ISO 5167-1. The exit section has been integrated into the system. Two pressure sensors are used to continuously measure the pressure drop controlled by the "throttle position" control valve. The pressure difference and the valve flow characteristic curve are characteristic parameters for determining the volume flow through the regulating valve, that is, process parameters. Compare this measured volume flow to the rated value and evaluate it in a PID controller, and then connect it to the position controller as a new rated value. The actual flow characteristic curve of the current control valve is stored in TopControl's memory in 5% steps.
